God Looks Over Us

Hey. I was just thinking when I realized: I should be dead, or at least in a hospital bed. I seriously could have been killed last Friday afternoon.

As my grandmother and I were leaving a grocery store, she drove out of the parking lot, not seeing the vehicles that were behind and in front of us. I was terrified! I could already hear the sickening crunch of the two cars colliding. My grandmother said quickly "Lord please help us" and, right after, she was able to maneuver us out of the way. I couldn't speak for a while. I didn't think we'd ever make it out of that.

Now I believe more than ever that God is up there in Heaven, looking after us. He really cares about us. He took care of us, and saved us from what could have been a tragic accident.  Praise the Lord, and thank Him for saving us!

I hope the story of my near brush with death, and God's loving mercy, has touched your heart. He really loves you, just like He loves me. He looks after us. It is said in the Bible "In my time of trouble, I will call on you, Lord for you will answer me." That is the truest thing ever. Can I get an Amen? I'll talk to you soon.

Romans 8:28

Hello, all! Welcome back to the ever-exciting blog, FNS!

Okay, so it may not be that exciting. But, it does have some good points, right?? Anyway, back to todays topic: Romans 8:28.

Romans 8:28 goes like this "For we know that God brings all things together for good, for those who love Him and are the called according to His Purpose." It means that, even though things may seem bad, it's all part of God's big plan for us. He knows exactly what is in store for me, and all the other 6.8 Billion people in the world.

I can really apply this verse to my life, for it's sure had its ups and downs, like any person's life, I guess. Whenever I feel I'm going to lose it, I think back to that verse and feel better.. It helps me through the good times and the bad.

It's for these reasons that I call this my Life Verse. I use its reference everywhere. 828 is one of my small insignias.

Today at church, we had a small time where we could just be quiet and look through our Bibles, and, if we wanted to, just blurt it out loud. I did this with Romans 8:28. It just suddenly slipped out of my mouth. It felt so natural.

I hope that, during your quiet time today, you just skim through the Bible, and find your Life Verse. One that you can really apply to your life, and think about throughout the day. It will help you alot.

God bless you, and good night!
